Teaching kids to think strategically
ThinkLab was built on a simple idea: the strategic thinking skills behind game theory shouldn't be locked away in university textbooks. They should be a game kids actually want to play.
Our Mission
We believe every child deserves the chance to build sharper decision-making, negotiation, and critical-thinking skills — long before they need them in the real world.
Our Team
We're a small team of educators, game designers, and parents who care deeply about building safe, effective, and genuinely fun learning tools for young minds.
Our Approach
Instead of lectures, ThinkLab uses interactive puzzles, simulations, and classic games like the Prisoner's Dilemma and Stag Hunt to teach concepts through play.
What makes ThinkLab different?
Most educational apps for kids focus on memorization — flashcards, quizzes, and repetition. ThinkLab takes a different path. We use real game theory concepts, simplified and gamified for different age groups, so kids learn to reason about incentives, cooperation, competition, and consequences.
Every lesson is designed by our team with input from educators and refined based on how real kids play and learn. We tailor content by age group — from playful introductions for younger children to more nuanced strategic scenarios for teens and adults — so the challenge always matches the learner.
Safety and privacy come first. We never sell personal data, and our content is reviewed to be age-appropriate, encouraging, and free of manipulative design patterns often found in other kids' apps.
